Eggspresso

Easter is almost upon us, which means one thing, it is time to brew up the ‘Eggspresso’! I’ve been inspired by the folks up at Brod (The Danish Bakery) in Cardiff to give this a go! They serve it at this time of year.

To make an Eggspresso, simply place a Cadbury’s Creme Egg into a cup and submerge in a double espresso shot!

Stir well to dissolve the egg, and enjoy!

I’m not particularly a fan of Creme Eggs or indeed sweet coffee, but I was intrigued to try this. I can’t see it replacing my morning flat white but I could see it working as a dessert/coffee combo.

You could of course replace the Creme Egg with a hollow chocolate egg, or even a caramel egg.
